Wanted: Front-End Developer

We are a small, growing creative agency located in downtown Orlando looking for a front-end developer with WordPress experience to join the team. I know there’s burly dude on the left, but we would love women coders to apply as well!

Only LOCAL candidates will be considered. Selected candidate must be able to work downtown at our office during the week. This is full time 40+ hours per week.

While we’re looking for talent, we’re more interested in passion, curiosity, positive attitude and a willingness to work hard to make the internet a better place. This is a mission, not a job.

We’d like to see at least 1 year of professional experience in:

  • HTML/CSS skills (and you love learning new tricks)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Basic Photoshop familiarity (no design/artist skills needed)
  • Ability to convert PSD mockups into clean WC3 compliant websites.

Other qualities we’re looking for are:

  • Working WordPress Familiarity
  • Ability to handle high pressure and solve problems with Google with minimal or moderate oversite.
  • Being dependable and an all-around positive human being.
  • Absolutely head-over-heals in love with learning new stuff.
  • You know what customer service is and can communicate well on the phone and by email.
  • Sense of humor or the ability to sense humor.
  • The drive to learn new technologies and the passion to share them with others.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Javascript, SEO and Shopify Liquid.

Starting pay varies depending on experience, skillset and attitude. Typically this role starts around $15/hr but can vary based on experience.
